Paddy Selection
We buy bulk stock of different types of paddies from the open market keeping under observation all quality checks. Our inspection team includes experienced selectors and paddy experts. They have a task of tests of paddies that includes tests for moisture contents, field admixture and others before purchase
Auto Drying Process
Firstly, it is dried in the Pre-Dryer. Secondly, paddy is shifted to the Column Dryer for further reduction in moisture. The modern technology of “smoke free hot air, generated through steam heat exchangers” is used to dry the paddy at these dryers.
Sun Drying
Sun drying is conventional drying process. Selected Basmati paddy is then allowed to slowly reduce its moisture by natural-sun-drying-method, to achieve optimum moisture content for husking. Paddy is spread over large fields, during the day and left for drying in the sun. This gradual drying helps to avoid thermal cracks in the rice grains, which would result in broken grains at later stages.
Husking Plant
Paddy is then brought into Top Rice & Processing Mills's husking plant where Brown Rice is produced after cleaning, de-husking and grading. In Brown rice, only the outer husk is removed, leaving the germ and bran layer, and retaining most of the nutritional value.
Parboiled Rice Plant
We installed most modern plant with capacity of 3 metric ton per hour to maintain quality level. Especially, we pass the basmati paddy in double steam process for excellent cooking. It satisfies the local and international standard. Parboiling rice rich in nutrients and parboiled white rice is 80% nutritionally similar to brown rice.
Warehousing
Basmati rice is rich in its taste and aroma when it is seasoned for eight-to-nine months. We made it part of its policy to sale only seasoned rice for consumption by its customers. This makes warehousing one very important step in the whole production process.
Grading

Cleaning
Milling starts with the cleaning of rice. This is a multi-step process where foreign materials like straws, mud balls, threads, stones, paddy and metal particles are removed from the rice. High performance pre-cleaners and classifiers are used to achieve great accuracy in purifying.
Whitening
Brown rice is gently milled in whitening machines in several passes to ensure efficient removal of bran. Number of passes depends upon the degree of whiteness required.
Quality Assurance
Quality assurance is the main aim. Fatima Rice maintains most modern testing laboratory to focus and ensure quality.
Color Sorting
The final step in rice processing is color sorting. This is aimed at to remove discolored grains from processed rice to give the uniform-color look.
